The other rooms seemed to have better beds. It was also way too hard, somehow the combination of squeak and mattress did not work for us. The other double bed was the squeakiest, creakiest box spring we had ever experienced. One of the beds was quite comfortable, but small to share an adult and 6 year old. Room 9 has two double beds, and there was room for a twin air mattress in the far corner by the non working door. The other rooms had much smaller bathrooms, which fit 1 person at a time, and had shower stalls. Others in our party were in rooms 5, 3 and 2, all rooms were clean, but some were slightly musty smelling when first entering the room. Our room was fresh and clean upon arrival, no signs of bed bugs anywhere, and definitely the most spacious of the 4 rooms. Our family of 4 stayed in room 9, which seemed to be the newest room, with the largest bathroom including a tub (the only room with a tub of the 4 we saw).
The motel is across from a golf course, if you're inclined to play. Check in was fairly quick (since it takes place at the desk for the restaurant there can be minor delays while they take reservations or seat customers depending on the timing of your arrival).
