Roberto is the recipient of several honors and awards, including the Excellence in Leadership Award by LeadingAge New Jersey, the Distinguished Service Award by the American College of Health Care Administrators for his leadership within the profession of long-term care administration, the Distinguished Citizen Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Community by the Boy Scouts of America, and the Leaders of Tomorrow Award by Long-Term Living Magazine. Roberto is a Fellow and former Board member of the American College of Health Care Administrators, has served as past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Foundation for Aging, and is a Board member for the New Jersey Commission on Aging, the New Jersey Advisory Council on Elder Care, and the Governor’s Transition Policy Group on Health and Senior Issues. Most recently, Roberto was appointed Chair-Elect for LeadingAge, the national organization representing more than 5,000 providers of aging services.
